Arch. Kenneth Shangali graduated from UDSM with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (Hons) in 2002. His first job was with Studio Seven Ltd, an architectural practice based in Dar es Salaam.

During his three years with Studio Seven, he honed his skills and extended his knowledge of design solutions, working on a variety of projects.

Kenneth undertook further studies in the UK, and acquired an M.Sc in Construction Project Management at the University of the West of England, Bristol.

He worked briefly in an architectural practice based in Cambridge before returning to Tanzania, where he joined IPA Tanzania, a satellite of the UK practice, working with them for two years before establishing Plinth Design Workshop Ltd (PDW) in partnership with Arch. Sayed Yasir Ally Qadri.

Florian Eugen Munishi, gained a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Ardhi University (ARU), graduating in 2017.

Since graduating, he has worked at PDW as an Assistant Architect, having previously worked with them from 2011 to 2012 as an Architectural Technician after receiving a Diploma in Architecture from Mbeya Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) in 2011.

While at university, Florian worked on a temporary basis with several architectural firms, including Pro Design Consult and Architectonics Studio, when they needed extra assistance for certain projects.

Samwel Daniel graduated from Eduardo Mondlane University in 2018, with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture and Physical Planning.

While taking his undergraduate course Samwel had the opportunity of working with Meneses Architects based in Mozambique.

During his year with the company he gained valuable practical and theoretical experience in a range of technical designs and solutions.

After graduation, he returned to Tanzania and worked with Shemita Architect for six months. In 2019 Samwel joined PDW as a graduate architect.
